Default edmonton stocked lakes report

checked out star, and chikakoo today, boat in the truck, still ice on both. looks like if the warm weather keeps up, might be in luck for next weekend

Got the canoe into Spring yesterday, was able to get around good, other than the middle, another 3 days at best. Water was very dirty, and hard to get the fly out with the wind. Hasse is another three day's as well. Just a guess.

the beaumont four seasons park pond is completely thawed now... went there today but wasn't having any luck with flies and people fishing bait said they didn't see any activity either. Last week I went down when there was still ice and I saw 2 dead fish in the ice... so you might avoid this one until it's stocked.

Anyone know if the fish survived at chickakoo this year? Also does anyone know of any other trout ponds or lakes to the south of edmonton?
