walleye fishing

hi am in sw calgary and a I whant to try some walleye in a river or a creek . dont whant to drive more than an hour and a hafe from calgary an any suggtions were I might catch something .I dont really whant to drive north of the city

I sat on the dock one day last summer and caught around 200 walleye, they are C and R only, and there are a few monster pike that come out from under the dock and eat the walleye off your line. If that might interest you, when it opens I believe on the long weekend, correct me someone if Im wrong, check out Pine Coulee south of Calgary. type PCR in the search and your dreams will come true.

I know a river that has lots of walleyes. I caught 15 walleyes there this weekend. I do not give away my spot though. You would have to come with me there.

the Bow has lots of walleyes, once you get south of Bassano

Iv fished pcr lots i just want to try someting new . I might try basson some time . this might be a weird question but can you fly fish for walleye .If any one has a river you dont have to tell me the spot just the river and that will be a big help
