Oct. 14 celebrates the Ukrainian Cossack warriors.
Today, October 14th commemorates the Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks. It is the anniversary of the formation of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army. Started in the 15th century. I'm sure some of my ancestors were Cossacks in past centuries. I salute them.
