Another productive day

Well, went out again today, did the wet wade with snow on the ground.

Started with a visit to check out a fly supplier in the south end of Calgary, bought 24 flies for $20, and for the life of me i cant tell the difference from store bought ones, a big thanks to Dave for keeping the prices less then $1 a fly!

Fished willow creek and caught 4 cutthroat, with my buddy catching 11. Was doing well till the sun came out and i decided to try out a hopper as fish were rising. Shouldve stuck with the bugger lol!

Man i love this fly fishing. Probably won't do any day trips for awhile, but the rod will now stay in my work truck for quick late afternoon visits to the bow. Very excited to try out nymphing the bow as i have tried dries and streamers with good success.

His name is Dave. I can look for his contact a bit later, but if youre itchin, look up fly fishing on kijiji Calgary and he will pop up. Huge selection of flies at $0.85 a fly or $10 a dozen. Very nice guy. He is down by James Mckevitt and McLeod trail.
