Default Bear track ID

While hiking in the Rockies/foothills this weekend I stumbled on a bear bed. I spotted this dug out area and, on investigation, realized what it was. A number of partial prints were visible, but nothing definitive. The attached picture shows my size 13 foot beside one of the more well defined tracks. Good sized track, but with lack of large claw marks I am guessing it is a Black Bear? Fairly confident in identifying between a Black and a Grizz in snow, mud, etc. but this soft earth made it more challenging. Any opinions?

The bear had dug into cool dirt, near the bottom of a drainage. Looked like a very comfy spot. The moisture in the dirt and the tracks makes me think I may have bumped him from his bed.

Here's a picture of the bed.

My guess is the right front paw of a black bear. Like you said no long claw marks. It looks like short claws of a black.
