Default Amisk Lake Ice Fishing

I am thinking about going up the Amisk Lake area to do a little ice fishing on the weekend. Any reports or information would be appreciated as this is the first time up in the area.

Thanks,

Weekender

Amisk Lake near Boyle? I have not been there this winter, but I don't believe it is a very productive lake. It is very deep (190 feet rings a bell?), but I think Pike and Perch are catchable in shallower water. The good thing is it isn't very wide, so you can probably walk to a decent location. I may not be the best person to give advice for this lake during the winter.

If you are in the area, you may want to think about trying Chump, Little Johnson, Lodge or North Buck. I have had success on all of these lakes this winter.
