Default Look at the beautiful fish...

Always thought Bali would be a nice place to go snorkeling or diving.... now... not so much.

They do say that in 20 years there will be more plastic in the oceans than fish. Somehow I believe them. I have never been to an ocean destination but wonder if this is what snorkelers and divers are encountering at these holiday places?

What a disaster. Probably a more and more common disaster.

I've never understood why people litter. Is it really that difficult, while driving for example, to just place the waste in the door pocket and dispose of it while fueling?

Third world countries and countries like China, India, The Korea’s etc don’t give a crap about pollution or any other worldly concerns. The oceans are their dumping grounds.

Many poor communities dump their garbage in rivers close to the ocean . Cheap cheap. Not sure about today but New York City used barges then dump off shore several miles .

Default It’s bad over there on land and sea.

And the entire world complains about our oil sands.
A couple years ago flying from Amsterdam to Africa the amount of garbage you could sea floating in the ocean was astronomical.
Nobody seems to care about that, it’s all about how bad oil sands and pipelines are in Canada.
