These rifles are affected by the same legislative gap as the so called CZ858 Spartan rifles. When the previous government reversed the RCMPs prohibitions on the CZ and Swiss Arms rifles, the wording was too specific, so when the Spartan was deemed to be a new version not covered by the reversal, Wolverine Supplies was forced to get creative, and replace the CZ receivers with Kodiak receivers in order to sell them. Similarly, these special edition Swiss Arms were missed. Someone discovered them, hence this amnesty. Bill C-71 is aware of them however, and they are specifically named, so once the turd that is C-71 passes, they will be grandfathered with the rest. (14) Subsection (13) applies in respect of a firearm that
