Default In light of the wonders of Bull Trout...let's push Canada Post to issue some commemorative provincial fish stamps...!!!

Let's start a mail campaign asking for a Canada Post stamp depicting the Provincial Fishes of Canada followed the the National fish.

Not sure what they all are but Alberta's is the Bull Trout.

What...maybe this is derailed. It does not look like all Provinces have a species recognized...

Therefore I make the following suggestions...

BC - Steelhead
AB - Bull Trout
SK - Northern Pike
MN - Walleye
Ontario - Lake Trout
Quebec - Brook Trout
NB - Atlantic Salmon
NS - Bluefin Tuna
NFL and Lab - Arctic Char
PEI - Atlantic Cod
NWT - Inconnu
Nunavut - Arctic Cod
Yukon - Arctic Grayling

Anyone disagree with my choices?

5 walleye($20)= a sturgeon ($100)

i think we should have quartres too like a new centenial like the olympics only fish. on the back of every quatre a differnt game species of fish.

Put me down for "Tell Canada Post to stop with the make-work-for-artists program. Just make one stamp and quit wasting money. It's like the 27 different versions of quarters we have. I don't even know what a Canadian quarter even looks like any more. A cashier could hand me an Indian Rupee and I'd accept it for god's sake.

Then perhaps we would have the same postage rate for more than 10 months.

Gee, do I sound like a crotchety old man? LOL I thought so.

Having said that, if they MUST keep making new stamps, fish are nice. So would Canadian historical figures who are NOT politicians.
