Default Underwater map of Clear Lake

Does anybody know where I can look at one?
I've looked all over the net and can't seem to find one,tho I could have sworn I had seen one one before....
Curious about structure and depth on the lake as I have'nt really fished anywhere but the campground area....
Heading there probably Friday so I would'nt mind trying some different area.

I don't know where a bathymetric map would be available from but i can tell you the entire lake is shallow.

I don't think it is. Township 60 Range 6 West of the 5th Meridian probably puts it up around Grand Prairie somewhere.

On the north part of Clear you can drive right on the ice from the shoreline at the NE parking lot, it can get a little dicey when it's slushy but right now it should be fine. I have Friday off too and thinking of heading somewhere close so it's either Ghost or Clear. Unfortunately I can't stay into the night for burbs but if I go I'll try and be out there by noon, just look for the Red Nissan truck. I don't know the north part that well yet but if I'm there, I'm planning on testing a few different northern locations.

If any of you guys have a day off next week we are planning our first ice fishing trip to Clear lake on Wednesday. Hope to find some Pike and maybe a burb. Will probably only do the day trip not spend the night for late burbs.
Going to try Mcgregor on Monday as well if all goes as planned.

There is the odd report of winterkill but it seems pretty isolated as there's always fish present the next year. As for flow, the only reason that lake has water is the Mosquito Creek diversion. Clear was at one time a perch and pike lake (30+ years ago). It was completely dry in the early 1990's so the existing diversion was created. Hence, i highly doubt there is any flowing water in the winter (diversion is not happening) and i also doubt there would be any springs creating moving water (as the lake was dry in the early 1990's). There are shallower lakes down south that winter pike, keep in mind pike are really tolerant of low oxygen and are great at bouncing back (numbers wise) following partial winter kill (lay a pile of eggs).

I didnt make it that far today, tried a couple lakes close to home, both sucked so I ended up trout fishing at Enchant Pond. couple nice rainbows, and lots of little perch. Maybe have to try Clear tomorrow, I wanted to take the woman so she could sight fish for pike, its fun

thanks for the update . good to hear they're starting to bite at clear . may try next weekend if weather co-operates. never tried the north end but have had success in the weedbeds 20 yrds. off the burm at the campgrounds . 8-10ft. of water.

Yep. Just hang a smelt or herring or anchovie parallel with a couple trebles in it about a foot or so off the bottom. About simple as that.
