Starting this cuz Im heading out there soon. Any advice for baits? Walleye, perch, jacks, and burbot is what im actually looking for. Also, is the White's spawn over?
The whitefish spawn has been petered out for a number of weeks now, although there are probably still lots of people trying. Same baits you use elsewhere for the other species will work. Be prepared to drill a lot of holes...a lot of holes...if you aren't familiar with the lake. It's not the lake it used to be.
Been going there for a month now for whites every weekend the ones we caught the first 3 weeks had no eggs yesterday and the day before the ones we caught finally had eggs
