Default Ice fishing on Electric trolling motor lakes

Question:

Is it illegal to drive my truck/quad/sled on the ice on electric trolling motor lakes? What about gas ice augers? Can they be used?

This has probably been asked and answered before but I can’t seem find any posts answering my question.

Thanks in advance for all answers.

Regulations for boat motors and speed are normally in place due to the size of the lake. It has more to do with boat wake and noise than anything. Unless the regulations specify that you can not drive onto a frozen lake or use a powered ice auger (I have never even heard of a regulation like this) then you are good to go.
