Default 22 match rifles let's see 'em!

The last few threads about .22 rifles and match rifles prompted me to start this thread.

here's a few of mine
This is a Walther standard rifle from the mid 60's, super accurate prone rifle.
it was won by my older brother in 1968 as the junior aggregate prize at the SFC smallbore Nats

This is a very beat up C.I.L. 190 that saw many years as a silhouette rifle

A model 52B Winchester with a vintage Tasco RTB scope- when Tasco made VERY good optics!
II also shoot this rifle with the Redfield Olympic peep sights ( with the Gehmann adjustable iris equipped)

Anschutz SuperMatch
At the moment however, the barreled action sits in a sporter class stock

The last one I have pics of is a great old moodel37 remington, another old timey rifle from thhe 50's that still wins the odd fun match

I have a few others but don't have pics uploaded yet.
Who else has an affinity for smallbore match rifles?

Here is a pic of my father in 1954 with his favorite Martini International prone Match rifle that he used until C.I.L. started carrying the Anschutz rifles in Canada.
I still have his sling and use it often when shooting prone.
This picture BTW was taken at the Nationals in Ottawa, his company rifle club team didn't lose a match for ten years!

That's awesome Cat,,, now I wish I would of taken photos in my 22 rimfire days,,, 1977 when I started as a junior... Ha

14 years young with my first well worn down weathered USSR single shot,,, my Dads friend sold us the whole package with slings and peep sights for $220,,, that was along of money back then...

Pops got free farm labourer to make up for them costs...

He said it still cost him more out of pocket then it was worth. LOL

Kinda forgot about this old gal, had to dig her out of the far back corner of the safe. Not much of a looker but she could sure shoot back in her haydays. Ansehutz match model 1403, right hand action in a left hand stock...

Nice! I love highwalls and the Stevens single shots as well!
Owned a bunch over the years including a couple of Ballard’s but never a C Sharps.
Great looking rifle!
