Default wifes buck

My wife filled her tag this morning a mile from the house. Sorry the picture is crappy but the camera was too cold. Will try to post some more when we get it home. Lived here 5 years with lots of cameras out and never saw this old boy before. She shot him making a scrape. He wont score great but wow is he thick.

Awesome !
Good for her. And a fitting end for a fading monarch.

At least he had a quick end, not a lingering death from injury or starvation as is the way for many old bucks.

Congrats to your wife on a fine deer!! It is seeing pictures like this that get the mind thinking on how big this deer may have been in his prime.
