Default Fishing spots in Lethbridge?

My dad, brother and I are staying in Lethbridge for a couple of days. We stopped at Bass Pro and bought over 200 dollars worth of tackle and we're now looking for a great spot to fish. Any suggestions?

Henderson lake is good for pike and a few perch. There are also grass carp all over, but you are not allowed to target them there.

Oldman river has Goldeye/Mooneye, Walleye, Sauger, pike, sturgeon, suckers, rainbows, browns in various numbers right in the city. Access at or near bridges. Not sure what the banks are like - use caution.

Nicklas Sheran(sp) lake Westside has brookies, perch and pike.

Reservoirs around Lethbridge contain pike walleye and whitefish.

Have fun

What kind of tackle did you buy? Goldeye are rising on the Oldman by Fort Whoop Up and Pavan Park. Flies, bobber & worm, P-rig with minnows/worms, or jig and minnow, depends what you have in your goodie bag. Nicolas Sheran on the westside of town has pike, tiny perch, and brookies.

Bought a few different spoons, spinners, ice-fishing jigs, and some bobbers. By the way, we saw some other fishermen catching small gators, not real big, but nothing came our way.

go fish the north wall at Keho,, spoons crankbaits, frogs, or just sit with a herring. Big pike to be had, better fishing in late September.

just re-read and noticed the "couple of days" part of your post. Though not a far drive.

You could give park lake a shot. It's about a 5 minute drive out of town if your heading north on university drive.

Might be a little farther than you want to drive, but the sauder reservoir at the rattlesnake dam has some great walleye n pike fishing
