Default Has anyone used a piranha prop

Hi just wondering if anyone has used the piranha propeler before. I'm looking at buying one to try out as they have replaceable blades which I think is handy and allows me to try a few different pitches for only around 20$ each they claim there composit is 2x stronger than aluminum. Any info would be handy

My only issue with strong props is that when you hit a rock something has to give. We were on the Mackenzie River when the boat I was in hit a rock with the prop. The stainless prop was fine, the driveshaft was bent however and his repair bill was allot more than a ding in an aluminium prop would have been.
I do like the idea of replacable blades though.

I should have stated that the blades will still break it's more the hub that is stronger .

Hello, I bought one for a 80hp merc 5 years ago. Found the performance much better than an aluminum prop. Never hit anything. I think overall it is great for the money. Better than an aluminum but not as good as a stainless prop.
