Thanks JohnnyD. I find most ice fishing rods are too soft and appear to be made for pan fish. The one you're using in the vid looks to have the required back bone to get the job done with out wimping out.

If you were getting another ice walleye rod would you get the same one again? If not which one would you be looking at now?

Thanks, I was pleased with the overall result. No light in the tent. I know it looks like it. The tent I was in is the Clam Kenai and it has very small windows. The beam of light on my face is the sun blazing through!
