Hundreds lose their phone every day - can you limit this to the area it was found perhaps? What carrier it's on? Did you take the phone into the store to see if they can match it using the SIM card? Do they contact you on here (it's your first post so just wondering)?

Cheers

Interestingly, you can't view the new guy's public profile. Seems odd to join a hunting and fishing forum because you found a phone... and not mention where you found it.

LOL Hey, I'm just making an observation, not drawing a judgement.

Obviously am new to posting here but been reading the forum for long time. I just found a phone that looks band new and felt sorry for the person who lost it. I know some one will be looking for it on this forum if at all. It is my fault for not telling were I found it!!

If it’s not locked, see if there are any text messages that it can be traced with that way. Or an email associated with the email programs.

The phone is locked. And there is no features or any sign to help identify the owner on my own except if someone can describe it exactly.

There is no massage on it and no notification showing up. Am scared of seeing other people text anyway, you will have no idea what kind of sh*t you see

Default Found him

I spent about an with his phone carrier with no luck. I always had my name on the lock screen of my phone. I realized it is not enough after this experience. For all who wonder how. I moved his sim card to another phone and got his number. I expected his phone number to still be the same and it was. He described the phone well.

Thank you guys for all your ideas.
