Neals on pace for a 130 goal season. Let’s hope he can keep it up.

James Neal. 1st Oiler in history to get 5 goals in first 3 games. Not Gretzky, Neal. Lol

Be nice. Harry tonight. 5 goals. He’s done more for you guys in 3 games then he did for us in 82. We just need Lucic to do more then Neal. Both win. Hope he keeps it going for u guys

One more for Neal makes 5 and I believe Save On Foods has the $1 million hockey contest for a lucky customer if Oilers, Flames, Jets, or Canucks player scored 5 in one game. Come on Neal make someone a millionaire!!!!

I think we need to be realistic about the Neal/Lucic trade.

Lucic could score 4.

By March.

Watched the game with a bunch of buddy's at The Brewhouse on 97st.

When the game was over we all lifted our glasses and did a shot of Tequila and toasted our new shining star, James "the real deal & the real steal" Neal!

He is just THAT good, we MUST of had to give a great player in exchange for him, no?

Smart coaching

Does Neal have the speed to go end for end with McDavid and Draisaitl, No. But he is 6’4” and has good hands in front of the net and a shooters mentality. Excellent addition to the 1st PP unit and can skate with Nuge and any other winger on the 2nd line. He might just be our X factor this year if everyone else performs as expected

Amazing how players can rebound when surrounded by talent and no dead weight.......

This should come as no surprise. What the Oilers were missing last year was Patrick Maroon and he proved his worth by playing a key role in St Louis after his outstanding season here. Neil will fill the same role if he stays healthy.

Thank God Peter Chiarelli isn't still here with his ultimate wisdom or he would be traded off for a bag of pucks and a washed up prospect.
