Default Cfl 2024

Riders are making a big splash in the Free Agency market coming to terms with Free Agent Running Back AJ Ouellette and LB Jameer Thurman. It's a good start and barring any cold feet they sign on the open market Feb13th @11 a.m.

All good until he hits the wall once too often and gets hurt, the Viking berserker thing only works for a short time.

That is indicative of the position not the man or style. Running backs have the shortest career of any position.

Looks like the Edmonton Elks are looking for a private buyer and former player Garrick Jones , CEO of 73 Holdings Investment is in the hunt. Would love to see that team get turned around and be competitive and make an announcement first day of ownership that as of this day forward the once proud franchise will be called the Edmonton Eskimo's.

CFL Rules Committee discussing the option for a team to field the ball at the 40 yard line eliminating the kick off and running it back after opposing team scores a touch down. Most teams would probably take the spot at the 40..? Wish they would leave things alone , the run back can be an exciting part of the game.

Agreed. Punt return or a kickoff return for 6 is exciting because it's somewhat rare. It also takes longer than most plays, which gives the fan more time to adrenalize

A kick off return to the 40 is a good return. Not great but better than average. Most returns end up in the 30-35 yard range. So I agree, it will eliminate some of football’s most exciting plays. Coaches will choose the better field position I am sure.
