Default Any Waterfowl Section

Hello all,
I'm very new to the site. I am enjoying it very much. Is there no WATERFOWL
dedicated section ....... Or maybe I'm just a bafoon and am missing it.

If there isn't one, could I suggest there be a DEDICATED Waterfowl section.

Thanks

Csm

Sorry, only the fly fishermen and archers (bows only!!!) were snooty enough to demand their own section. Everyone else is happy with a general "killin' stuff" section. (hunting).

There's only about 20 guys in all of Alberta that hunt waterfowl anyway.

The waterfowl talk will start in September. Then the waterfowlers will be quiet and go shoot birds in October when everyone starts posting about elk hunting.

I'm one of the 20. We're just way outnumbered by the horny hunters.

I'm good with that lol. Pics and stories on snows will come out after the spring season lol. Don't want to get too many excited while season is on. 😂

One of my most memorable hunts. 7 canvasbacks on one shoot.

Default Love the labs boys, and all the Oder four legged hunting partners

What an Awesome Idea!

PLEASE! Please! PlEaSE! PLEASE!!!!!!

can we have our own Waterfowl section... COME on😆😘🤗🤠

We'll be good, Promise!

And we won't be snotty like "us" snobby fly fisherman neither😉

Cause we're too happy to be out blasting and decoying, and playing our lovely calls, that we practice for 15 minutes for everday, cause we love it ... and if ya never tried it, you gotta try it... pm me and il get you into the time of your life, and have a nice cup of hot cocoa or java in between volleys of kamikaze mallards, sprig and Honkers...

COME ON😘

PLEEEEEEEEAAASSEE!

We deserve our own section, don't ya think?!

Have I mentioned, how well the site mods have been, and all the members are so good, now.. and we all get along and sh*t!

And everyone loves everyone, and no one is being an asshat lately, and everybody's being helpful, ... sharing and caring

🤢

Honest

I speak for me, and I'm sure lots of all the other Gander and Drake chasers... we'll be good! Pinky swear🤙 And Spocks honour 🖖, and one hunter to another hunters honour🤝, some of this🙏, And a big wet 💋 from a really fit dark brunette with striking blue eyes ( or whichever you prefer) who thinks yer just the greatest fella she ever met..

Edit :decoying

There is no big game forum, no upland forum, and no varmint forum, so why would anyone expect a waterfowl forum?

Because it never hurts to ask.

At one time there was no Flyfishing Forum, and no Archery Forum. They came about
because people asked for them, and there was enough demand to justify them.

The whole hunting forum is 99% big game.

Check out Saskatchewan Hunts website. They have a million sub forums within the site. It doesn't make it better.

Check out the BC hunting forum. They have about 20 sub forums. It's ridiculous. Each sub forum//section gets about 5 posts a day total.

It's a pile of opening sections over and over. Vs open the hunting section and scan for posts that interests you.

It's like the question that gets asked and an ice fishing section. No point. One would be dormant while the other would be busy. And when the ice melts, it swaps.

I see no reason to break it up so much. But that's my opinion.

Edit: counted 29 sections on the Bc forum. Where does one stop?

If you go to the new posts button, you can read this forum like it's all one section.
I highly recommend it.
I find interesting stuff to read all the time, and it turns out it was in the trapping, or fly fishing section (where I'd never click directly, because I don't trap or fly fish).
So, put my vote in for fewer sub forums.

While we're asking for new forums, how about a drinking forum?

There is a waterfowl hunter social group I believe.

Go to your user CP (top left in header) and then on the left side under Networking you will find the social groups.
