Default Black vs Camo pattern

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering how many of you have a black bow? And have you noticed any difference in the bush with it? I can't see it making a huge difference, but then again, I've only ever hunted with camo limbs and riser. I'm looking at an all black bow but want to know if it has its drawbacks first. Thanks!

None, there are no drawbacks. I have a bow with a black riser and camo limbs, a bow with a camo riser and black limbs, and I have an all black bow and I wouldn't be scared to use any one of them for hunting. I like to use a camo quiver and camo stabilizer to break it up a bit, but I don't think it matters much, I think it's more for humans to like than animals.

Black bows disappear in the pop up blinds. Outside there are lots of black/dark branches etc. for the bow to blend into.

Black bows have no disadvantage for hunting ...except they show scratches and abuse easier.

Hey Bigbore,

I see you don't have the Montana BlackGold sight anymore. How come the change?

It's all part of the game Mike. Once you get a little more expirience you'll know why.

Man I need to start packing an extra tube sock. It's hell hiking the hills back to the truck with a bare foot in your one boot. Murdered out bows look awesome! My next bow will be black again.

I hunt all year with snow camo ...In the poplar i think it dissapears better than standard camo...with the black bows stay in the shadows and stay stealth!!!
