Default Quirk creek, where are the fish?

Been to quirk yesterday, beautiful day to be out. Lots of cows in the valley, eroded banks with cow dung all along creeks length. Water is got a wierd tinge to it and creek seems to be void of fish from harold creek downstream to elbow, upper quirk still holds some cutts as it is very narrow and cows seem to avoid that part. Wasn't really disappointed in not catching but devastated by what this creek has turned into, a slough at best. In 10 years of fishing it i've never encountered such change. They must have let in more cows after logging took place.
