Default Peppers Lake info

Was out that way moose hunting, and see there was a group of ice fishermen out on Peppers lake. Can anyone tell me info on the lake...what's in it for fish or depths..... thanks, Timberj

there is more than one peppers, but i think both hold trout only. i believe one has brookies and rainbows and one just has rainbows. check the regs.
crystall clear water the last time i was there. hard fishing too, they seem really picky.

I beleive the one you mean is west of Rocky. It has Brookies and has spots I think around 20'. Best spot to fish this time of year is 3/4 of the way down the lake on the right hand side. There is a gravel hill with a bench. Fish around this point about 10 - 15' out in about 2 -3' of water.

thanks for the replies. It is the "Peppers lake" off the Forestry Trunk road south of Ram Falls. Ice was crystal clear with several guys fishing the areas mentioned. Looks like a nice spot for future trips......

The camp ground is gated/locked, but there are places very close to set up camp and you could walk to the lake......
