Been ice diving a few times now, and it is surreal when you let all the air in your drysuit head to your legs. That's what sticks you to the underside of the ice. You look down and the air bubbles head down just like in the clip. It takes a bit to get used to.

I'm always tethered to the surface with a safety line, so we'll go a ways away from the entry hole and tug the rope in a pre-determined signal and we'll get pulled toward the hole. Basically water skiing, upside down, under water. It's a blast!

Hoping to go ice diving in March again.

Definitely a different outlook to ice fishing, would be interesting to do.

I remember when I did my first ice dive back in the early 80's. Very eerie feeling. We used to play hockey and golf with tennis balls right under the ice.

Pretty neat video, great concepts! I've never tried this probably never will, I'd rather be on the other side of the ice actually catching fish!
