I owned a Zeiss Diavari 3x9x36 that was involved in a horse wreck, and it was repaired promptly free of charge, even though the scope was in no way defective.

The Zeiss conquest line of scopes are in my opinion hands down the best rifle scope in their price range. Have never had to use their warranty service, but I can't imagine it being anything but top notch.
As for low light, won't find anything brighter for the price.

Best scope for the money ever made IMHO, I only shoot in legal daylight so not sure about lighting conditions, but they are clear and tracking is absolute. I have had at least 7 Zeiss Conquests, only had trouble with one, my own fault though, it was repaired at no charge.

My younger brother has a 6.5 x 20 x 44 conquest that was not holding zero from new and they replaced it free of charge including a pair of binoculers (not sure of model) for his inconvenience.

Pretty awesome service IMO.

where do you send them in for repair? out of Canada? Ive compaired my leupy 6.5-20x50 to a conquests in the same magnification and could see no real difference. I also like the fact I can have service work or swap recticles and turrents right here in Alberta

X2 use it on my .375 H&H it is only a 3x9 but by far the best scope I own, would gladly trade all my other scopes ... for conquest's any day.

especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.

Well I picked up my Zeiss.I went with the same as yours,4.5-14-44mm conquest. However I got the mil-dot reticle.I found that the Rapid z reticle Is way to busy for hunting. How does your cooper shoot?? Pretty accurate? We just got a cooper classic in a 280AI,but we hav'nt shot it yet.

I have a 4.5-14x50 rapid z 800 on my .257 wby accumark and just love it. I finally made it to the range today sighted in at dead on at 200 yards and using the 300 yard reticle was easly hitting 8inx8in 3/4 in plate. Get one you wont regret it.

Ive looked through Zeiss on many ocations and Ill admit the optics are great, a hole lot better than leaupy..... no slightly better yes......... with a high mag scope looking out to 1000yrds you may see a difference this might have something to do with the cool colours leaupy goes with. When shootin long range like I do you need a clear scope but most importantly turrents that adjust to the proper MOA and return back to zero every time. I can count on leaupy and if I have a problem its a quick fix through there warrenty center, Im not the only one that does leaups has claim to tones of long range comp winnings just look it up......................

You are right, Leupold's have one there share of competitions, but they are not there $1000 line of scopes. I haven't seen many VX3's winning any competitions as of yet, but I will keep looking
Since you have mentioned competitions, spelling is not one you should enter, there is a spellcheck on most computers, check it out or look up.

ELKY,

If I wanted to hear from you I go looking for you, there is a reason you have over 2000 posts, its because you stick your nose where it doesn't belong.

It's an open forum,so anyone can post on it.
If you are going to lecture other people about their spelling, your spelling becomes fair game.

It is an open forum, but maybe it's time for you put your typing fingers away for awhile, they getting old and annoying, I really can't take anyone serious who use that uses that tongue face over there.
