Default Skaha Lake

I will be spending a week at a cabin south of Penticton that we normally rent and this year we will be fortunate enough to have a boat as well. My question is any advice as to tackle for that lake. I don't plan on fishing too hard and I don't flyfish at all. . .any advice is welcome.

Cheers.

That lake is one of my favorites, HUGE smallmouth bass in that lake. Fish the rocky shore line on the west side of lake , Docks at southeast side, and midlake humps.

get yourself some medium diving crank baits from bass pro. I am a big fan of the spro baits and their new poppin frogs for early morning and evening top water bite. Get yourself some senko's in the 4 or 5 inch natural colour. Also, learn how to tie a drop shot rig and pick up some 4 inch minnow baits. there is a number of them on the market can't remember that brands they carry. You will be able to cover the whole water column and any situation. Let us know how you do.

Wink

Drag a tube in watermelon or greenpumpkin on the rocky midlake humps and rocky points. The bass should be gettin fat on crayfish right now.
