Default Opening day at Badger

I am planing on driving to badger for the opening day of fishing, I was just woundering if anyone knows if the lake is still frozen. Dont want to drive 2 and half hours just to turn around and come back.

I drove by it wednesday. It still had lots of ice. The islands on the west side were open but that was it. Along the shore had maybe 50 feet of open water. It might be clear by next weekend but who knows????

Was out that way Sunday and if the weather holds it should be open.
