Yes, they could even be known to police already - these two groups have a special relationship. But the police will work hard and catch them and then the courts will tap their wrists oh so gently and send them on their merry way ... tra la la la la .... Canadian justice.

I call B.S. Seems the only thing police seem to work hard for these days....is to catch speeders, And distracted drivers!

Sorry to hear this. I hate this crap!
Years ago I had my ice fishing gear lifted out the back ofmy truck outside Rusty's "show palace". The folk dancers were in fine form and I stayed longer than I should have.

If I had the chance to find a thief in my home/car -problem solved...the ride would be a long one and no more crime.
