Default American health insurance industry going to be ripped apart

https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/11/healt...ion/index.html

Gist of the article is anyone sending in a request for treatment was supposed to be reviewed by a doctor. Instead a nurse or administrator reviewed.

Anyone refused treatment will be suing. Anyone who was refused and died the family will be suing.

The health care system in the US keeps getting worse. Fewer people covered. Costs rising. Bankruptcy common place. US pays way more per person for healthcare than Canada for a shorter lifespan.

Watch this one and sell your US healthcare stocks fast.

Lol. Problems happening long before Trump.

When profit comes before a life...how can private health care expect to work. When the wealthy have better health care than the poor...who will suffer.

I personally know lots of bad experiences in the US. Homes lost. $50,000 to have a baby. HMO pushing for amputation versus surgical repair. All to save a $.

The end results sound like something out of third world countries. Unbelievable.

If you don't have insurance. You lose your house.

If you have insurance then likely you are covered.

If "cured" and it comes back...pre existing condition may not be covered.

My buddy paid $50,000 out of pocket for their last kid because they made the mistake of getting pregnant half way through their coverage year.

As a result...upon renewal the fact she was pregnant was a preexisting condition and not covered.

It is scary.

I always laugh when people complain about our health care and how it should be privatized

This is due to republican policies. Obama at least tried doing something about it by signing in the affordable care act which Trump and his billionaire cronies are trying hard to get rid of.
