Default Handgun/assault rifle questionnaire

Everyone should fill this out whether you own and handgun or assault rifle or not. The more rights we as gun owners lose the worse off we all will be in the long run.

Filled out their BS survey yesterday,I hope Turdo and supercop/antigun/only cops should have guns advocate Bill Blair read my unsolicited responses.....and I say unsolicited because it only asks for you to expand on answers if you agree with their BS agenda and BS misuse of the term “assault rifle”.
What a crock....much like the BS Firearms Advisory Commitee stacked with antigun advocates..the Libtards already have their minds made up.Were gonna need a Conservative majority in 2019 to repeal and undo all the mess this govt has created.
You can waste your time filling out BS surveys(I did just for fun and to point out the inaccuracies in their heavily weighted antigun questions) or you can GET OUT AND VOTE IN 2019!,

Oh, I put a response under each one whether I gave it the prompted response or not.

Furthermore, is that seriously the definition they are running with for an assault weapon? Do they understand we have capacity limiting laws already, so therefore we don't have any assault weapons by that definition?

Finished off with:
"Keep in mind that it is people who are willing to act outside of the law who are the ones who will find a way to (illegally) possess an illegal weapon to carry out actions which and even further against the law. It is people who are the problem. Enough cities (such as Chicago) and countries (such as England) can attest to the fact that no matter what weapon is prohibited, individuals willing to act outside of the law will still find a weapon, without concern as to if it is legal or not, and commit crimes. At the same time, countries such as Switzerland or Luxembourg show that it is possible to allow ownership of assault weapons and even machine guns without seeing massive crimes committed with them. I, and many, many other legal Canadian gun owners, believe in and follow strictly our Canadian gun laws. The legal ownership and enjoyment of thousands should not be infringed on because of the actions of a few who are not hesitant to find illegal weapons to commit illegal acts."

Ya, I like they’re reference to a defunct US law. What a fear mongering statement they used in a completely biased questionnaire. They simply picked the points that suit their agenda and turned them into questions. Who cares what the US HAD for a definition of assault rifle, probably the worst country to get pointers from when it comes to gun laws if the libs really believe in their cause. None the less a guy needs to fill this out and take actual references and put this into the comment boxes.

Ironically,I can see their gun bans backfiring on them and actually putting more illegal guns on the street.
Mike in Canmore is always in the market to buy,as are street thugs and drug dealers, gang members etc.Itd be a shame if my guns were stolen before I could turn them in for destruction....boooohooohooo
Good time to review your home insurance,I predict a crime wave targeting restricted weapons and currently NR semis to sweep across the nation.

Filled out and submitted.
The funny thing is though that the survey is named “something something dialogue”, yet, every single question talks about “limiting”.

Thumbs down

I tried and the questioning was a joke, all over the map, if you as a adult can't see what is happening, have a adult conversation on what is required to remedy the situation to criminals and how they have rights even after doing hideous crimes well that's what we are up against, dumb and dumber sitting around a table brain storming on something that is not that complicated....harsher penalties upmtomand including the death penalty but not 15 years later or after the fact...oh well....ring around the roses....

I filled out and submitted. I don’t like the proposal at all and I feel like the federal liberals can’t help themselves when it comes to tinkering with firearms laws. But we will do more good by keeping the anger and name calling to ourselves.

I asked for better tracing capacity for police, addressing at risk adolescents especially in urban areas and tighter borders. I pointed out the Feds cherry picking of violent crime statistics and the proposal’s parallels to the failed approach to the drug war. Then I asked to be allowed to carry a handgun in the backcountry.

Voting helps, but don’t count on every conservative government spending political capital on firearms issues. We need to sway whatever government is in power and not count on the next one to fix things.

Ok. I’m done.

If you know someone, that tells you it wouldn't matter to them, but, owns firearms, try getting them to understand what this can do to the availability of local shooting ranges and gun shops, and how it would affect them. May affect ammo availability as well.
