Default Lorne Gunter - Stats Canada - Gun Crime

Interesting presentation by Lorne backed up with data from Stats Canada --- so not speaking to anyone here that needs to be converted (other than the morons in Ottawa or more specifically the Liberals & NDP).

40% increase in Toronto, 30% in Vancouver, both liberal strongholds.

Let's not forget the 42% increase in the city of champions...
Where the Liberal and NDP are also favored.

Well the conclusion is so obvious.
Voting left liberal or NDP causes gun crime.

Perhaps it's the liberal/ndp policies/judges/ideology that results in criminals committing firearms crimes? Or is it just a coincidence that after being on a decline for years under Harper, that firearms crimes rose, the year that Trudeau was elected, and kept increasing under Trudeau?

Someone will be along right away to refute this. Bank on it.

Ironically, the data is all from the federal government, so obviously not prejudiced against the liberals. But that won't stop some socialist from questioning the data.

I think the numbers are flawed. They’re talking about 300 murders but it was 300 HOMICIDES. Suicided are also homicide (the killing of man/people).

And the criteria hasn't changed, suicides were counted as homicides previously, so the data showing the huge increases is consistent.

I think if you look up "shooting Toronto" on google images, you may notice a similarities that transcends any political affiliation; one that won't be fixed with strengthened gun laws.

And that is the point, Trudeau's firearms legislation has not resulted in a reduction in firearms crimes, the reality, is that ever since Trudeau was elected in 2015, firearms crimes have increased.

I don't disagree with you, but Poilievre won't change any of those recent changes either.

The point is, attacking legal firearms owners, is not doing anything to reduce firearms crimes. Changing our laws to hold criminals accountable , will reduce firearms crimes, because they won't be shooting people, if they are behind bars. But the sad reality, is that we are stuck with liberal judges, appointed by Trudeau and his mafia, and they need to go, to have criminals held accountable.

In whatever way the laws have changed under Trudeau, the real significance is repeat offenders, which is the direct result of lack of punishment for criminals. Every time you let a crook go after committing a crime, he becomes more emboldened and more likely to commit more crimes. I've read about career criminals in Vancouver, just as an example being arrested hundreds of times for the same and related offences and that a handful of criminals are responsible for the majority of crimes committed. The more times a crook goes through the system the better he gets at playing that system. Countless cops have left because of frustration with the court system. Meanwhile, Trudeau virtue signals by taking guns away from law abiding sports shooters.
Long and Short? It won't get better until the Trudeau liberals are tossed aside.
