Default Great day to be on the ice for one last time!

Hit Beauvais Lake yesterday for the last outing of my hardwater season. Arrived at 7:30am, not even the slightest breeze of wind and a temp of 1C. Caught lots of rainbows and some suckers. All fish were released, to some peoples dismay, even the suckers Nothing huge to write home about, all in the 12" range, but fun day none the less. Took some video with my Marcum fish camera, water was quite cloudy.

On a side note, ice was about 14" thick and rotting. The ice near the shore was flexing pretty good in the afternoon as I was walking off the lake. Safe to bet that the lake will be done very shortly with all this warm weather.

Looking forward to open water season!

Thanks everyone! The only thing that would have made the day better, would be knowing that there was still a couple months of hardwater season left
