Default Got another Bullie! PB!

Me and my friend Curtis took off yesterday on a day trip to the FTR area. We were up early and joined the fog on a lake but the lake was completely silent. No sign of fish until the sun started to come over the first hill and the water started boiling with tiny cutties!! We would spot a fish jump... paddle over to it and land a fly right on top and nearly every time we had the hit. I can't even put a number to how many hits we had to how many fish were landed (however they were all little fingerlings lol). It was a blast though!! We had the entire lake to ourselves until about 2pm... and then we moved on.

Mid afternoon we stopped at a few rivers and Curtis landed a Bull trout and then a nice Cutthroat within 5 minutes of each other on his homemade spinner! I kept tossing out a streamer in the same hole and soon after I landed my PB Bullie as well! PUMPED!!! Well worth the drive for a day trip!!

Lol that was my third to date. Last two were on a dry fly. This was my first one stripping streamers though! Wasn't sure if it would work in the twirling current but if you don't shoot you cant score right! Keep chasin and you'll get one :P
