I saw a huge whitetail buck yesterday just outside if Calgary that had both sides still intact. A buddy of mine reported seeing another one in Fish Creek park intact as well.

By this time last year I had found at least 10 sheds, mostly spikers and fork horns. All were found around our bales. This year I have found zero.

this has been a real unusual year for sets. 2 or 3 sets and 8 or 9 singles is the norm, the last 2 years all the bucks have dropped by Jan 15, pretty boring trail cam pics after that.

Ahhhh. I highly doubt the moose was broken though. All the moose is my area have dropped both sides for a couple weeks now. Moose shed earlier than whitetails for the most part.

So strange I saw a large heard south of gp last year and many bucks had their horns in February. I think every deer south of the river was on that heavily posted land, cause they sure werent anywhere else.

Saw some bucks on Friday and Saturday while calling coyotes. Still had antlers. Even saw two sparring.

Can't wait to get my lab out hunting sheds. He'll find a lot more than I will.

Once again , I checked my trailcams yesterday and all bucks still wearing both sides. I also got a trailcam photo of 5 coyotes at one time and saw 3 bull moose, small, medium and pretty large, following a cow across canola stubble! I was hoping that the moose would shake their horns loose as they ran out of the field and jumped the fence but no luck! Haha!

All bucks on my cams are still holding also. However the best buck I've had on cam is dead I believe. These are the last 2 pics I have of him. Was coming in every night until then but was looking worst as each day passed. What do you guys think?

That's a sad sight. I don't think he would last much longer.

I think the poor fella rutted himself out judging by the way his ribs are showing he looks pretty malnourished.

Those are incredible photos! Poor bugger, id be out looking for ravens tommorow, I doubt that he made it far. I also
Agree that he probably went a little to hard during the rut unless he has any obvious injury. These pictures are a little disturbing in how you can actually see his bone structure throughout his body! I've got a lot of neat trailcam photos but nothing like that!
