Anyone thinking of going on a red stag hunt in 2016? I found a guy that has an opening from march 2-6 and im thinking of going but he said if i can find someone to join me that he will be able to give us a better price for two hunters. Europe, South America, down under,........Where is this outfitter out of?
Personally, I would want at least the name of the outfitter before I would get excited and make the call.

You bet its the north island of New Zealand and the outfitter is Kuranui New Zealand Ltd. I have talked to the guy on the phone and it will be just the two hunters in camp if i can find someone to go with and if not it will be just myself. Im still on the fence but if i can find someone that is seriously interested it may push me over the the fence lol. Hunting dates are march 2-6 and we will be the first hunters in camp for the year.
Having been on a few overseas hunts I'd say that if your going to fly that far and pay that much for the travel you should hunt for more than a few days.
