Post Bear hide condition

With the warm weather we are having this week how long will the bear hides stay In good condition.

With each passing day it becomes more likely that they will be rubbed but as far as I have observed the bears usually stay nice until the end of season. Most bears I've got where near the end of may and all where very nice. It seems to me that the little ones tend to rub faster. The big ones will get thinner hair on their bellies now though... But no reason you shouldn't be able to find a nice furry bear until season closes.

of the 100,000 trail cams pictures i've looked at over the past 3 years from april until June 8th. I've seen 3 bears with noticeable rubs. That's 1%. just food for thought. Spring was 2 weeks early this year, but temps weren't that much warmer in late April / May.

seen 11 bears in past week from stand. All had excellent coats. One larger boar had rubbed his face pretty bald but coat great. We did watch him stand against a tree and rub his back though
