My family loves it except for the ground. We turn that into sausage which we love. The moose I got this year is a hit with my wife, as hard as she tried she couldn't find any gamey flavor.

Try adding a bit of pork fat to the burger, she will love it then. Burger has so many uses. My wife eats it all and also hunts for us too!

We haven't bought beef since 1990. All wild game since then (pork and chicken too). My wife and both daughters all hunt too.

Well your not the only one. My wife when I first met her would not even try it. 8 years later she will eat the pepperoni & jerky and some sausage. So she has come a long ways now. She even is ok now with me hanging and butchering them in the garage. At first she would not even go in the garage. I hope in another 8 years maybe she will try hunting herself.

My wife's favorite is fall black bear. She eats it and cooks it and hunts it reluctantly (she got her WIN to enter the draws and let our 12 yr old hunt as a partner on her tags). She has killed a deer but didn't enjoy it.

Yeah, she's eaten every game meat that's been put in front of her so far.

I emailed her a couple pictures of a buck my friend shot and she was drooling over them. I think she'd be more disappointed than I would if I don't fill both my tags.

Default not ground

Shot a couple bison a few years back and thats all she's wanted to eat. Especially the burger. I had some ground deer and no one would touch it. I'm not a big fan either. Since the bison, thats what she prefers which kinda sucks ince it's $10 a pound. Got some moose meat this year and so far her and the kids like it. Nothing like theyh do the bison though.

To further the issue, my wife actually can't handle beef anymore. Too fatty. She prefers game to beef -- but not home raised pork though-- the fat in that is ambrosia.

Mine loves moose more than beef, but she does prefer Strathcona county Whitetails over whitetails out west. Something about grain fed deer

I prefer the bush deer. Not as strong as the grain fed.

Mine is on her way home with a deer in the back of the truck. Since last fall she has shot 3 deer , including a 154 inch whitetail, and an antelope. All were bang flops, DRT. Gives a whole new meaning to " honey i'm going to get groceries.."

My wife prefers elk, moose and deer to beef. She was raised on 4h beef so I thought she wouldn't eat the wild meat. She loves it and never complains when my hunting trips are centered around moose and elk.
