RH, look forward to seeing them. I guess remember if they are to be used, they should meet or exceed the trap standards that have been met by AIHTS (Agreement on International Humane Trapping Standards).

Default Trap Pictures

The Big Trap is for mink and martin, it is 20 inches long, 8.5 wide, 11.5 tall.

The Small Trap is for weasel and mink, 20 inches long, 6.5 wide, 8.5 tall.

Pretty simple a piece of flat bar, a trampoline spring, a conibear trigger and dog, a couple nuts and bolts and some mesh.

Although this is an old post, I thought I would add this info now.

Here is a site you should check out regarding trap development and legalities.
There might still be the trap research center in the province. Part of the Alberta Research Council and the Fur Institute of Canada.

Looks good Road Hammer,

Can you make me one a bit bigger that looks like my truck and has a change holder for the bait?
