Default Rapala black ice 43cc auger review?

Wondering if anyone owns this auger and what their thoughts are on it.

Go to the 51series. Underpowered unless you have never had anything but smaller, no auger or hand auger. Entry level and under powered.

Not underpowered if you get the 8" model. At 10 inches you could say 43cc is underpowered. It is the same as the Eskimo Mako 43CC.......just rebranded to Rapala

43cc be fine. As CNP stated, just a rebranded Eskimo Mako. The new F1 ice augers from Eskimo run a 33cc motor using a 10" flyte.

I use an old 33cc rebranded Eskimo Stingray auger with an 8" flyte and it does very well. Ice has never stopped it yet. Have been toying with the idea of getting a 10" flyte for it to give it a try and see how it does.

Exactly....and what is the next post ? Someone thinking of going up to a 10 inch. It happens more than you think. Think ahead and do it once or it can get costly as many have found out unless you are the company selling them.

I just grabbed a 43cc Nitro... has tons of power for the 8" auger. Can't say how a 10" would run

I went to this from an older 33cc Jiffy... they are worlds apart.
