Default Update - Yummy Yummy Yummy Look What I got In My Tummy

Was out with Bwackwabbit on Friday, first ice fishin adventure of the season, it was a beauty day, 7" ice .... had lots of fun, no monsters but lots of activity, kept 3. Was a bit surprised with what they had for lunch .... looked like a smorgasbord of nymphs, bugs, beetles, snails, leach, and a small minnow (not shown). Going back tomorrow, will update our results.

Enjoy ......

Right on! I always find it interesting to see what trout are feeding on as well. Those beetles are HUGE>

Wow! What a fantastic day. Hard to believe the size of the beetles you found inside. Hope you enjoyed the fish fry.

How did they taste?? I've kept a few from there and the smaller ones were ok, but anything bigger was pretty muddy tasting...

Always a good day when you catch a fish and it has a toonie in it!

Great catches.

Default Sunday Update .....

We went back out today, bit slower than Friday, but had a great day, no monsters, kept a few ... this was their Sunday Brunch .... one guy was walking around on my filet board .... think it's a Dragonfly Nymph, but not sure .... can someone on the forum school me ?

I'll start a new thread called ..... Troutville and include a few pic's of our adventure!

Enjoy ....
