from the Western Headworks Diversion (W.H.D.) Weir
downstream to the Carseland Weir (includes 500 m of the
Highwood River and the 3 Carburn Park Ponds) but excluding all
waters in the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary (see Inglewood Bird
Sanctuary) – Open all year.
 Apr. 1 to Mar. 31 – Trout limit 1 under 35 cm; All Trout over 35 cm
must be released; Mountain Whitefish limit 5 over 30 cm; Bait Ban.

Havent been since it winter killed last year or maybe it was 2 years now.

Cheers,

It's kind of silly that they changed the regs

I may have to try that... thinking maybe #16 scuds on one line, jigging rap on another? I've never fished there before but I could hit it after school....

I'm getting some cabin fever, had my wisdom teeth out on thursday and I've been out of it since then

Haha lay off the Demerol...

Personally, I wouldn't bother trying carburn.

You'll have better luck catching hammer handles in chesterslough and trout in the river.

Haha I'm just trying to find something I can hit after school on fridays (i get out at 12:30 and go to school in okotoks). I introduced a friend to ice fishing a few weeks ago at PCR after school and he's been bugging me to take him again. I'm always on the lookout for ideas (especially ones that don't cost $50 in gas and take 2 hours to get to)

Thanks guys, headed there today...the south pond is now a skating rink. There were a few holes drilled in middle one but never tried it. Was a bit too sore from skating...not very god at it.

You could give Emerson Lake (High River) a try --- apparently it's fishing pretty good right now according to report by Fishingaddict
