Default Sylvan lake question.

Just moved to sylvan a couple months ago and unfortunately I don't have a boat yet haha and it's such a tease living so close to a lake and not being able to fish it! So I was just wondering if anyone has attempted to wade out a few yards and try fishing like that? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

Have seen people in the past fishing on the big structure that juts out into the lake west of the beach. They did very well on walleye and even whitefish.

Yeah I've heard of people fishing there but I have also heard of hem getting grief from the public because people swim out there so I thought I'd try to stay away from the public
