I thought that it had shown up in the Livingston Fish Hatchery back in the 80's, and that was why Parks Canada terminated stocking in Jasper National Park at the time?

It was indeed IPN that caused those closures.

It is also one of the big down falls of stocking, as it has the potential to spread disease very effectively.

Parks Canada released updated closure for the area. http://www.pc.gc.ca/apps/scond/Cond_...3&oPark=100092

Great section to fish the Bow where creek enters, closed now. The fish in the Bow now probably affected as well.
