Jiffy Decent Price?

I am looking for opinions from different parts of Alberta where you bargain hunters may be lurking. Is $300 a good price for a brand new Jiffy White lightning 8'' power auger? If it is you may want to check out your local Peavy Mart. I just got the last discount one in Red Deer and may keep it if the guy at work isn't interested (i already have a 9'' model). I think they were $450 regular price (still some of them in stock).
