Default Ice at Travers reservoir?

Does anyone know if the ice is off at Travers reservoir yet.

a quick search using the forum search function would tell you that someone has already asked that and yes indeed it is ice free........

There is absoultely no ice there, fished all day yesterday must have been 20 boats in the water....

Did you catch anything? I didn't even see a single fish there on Saturday.

Yes we caught fish on Sunday not Saturday.

I think Wednesday will be a good day for the inaugaral.....

might have to resort to Walleye secrets 92 to 97.....

hopefully that nasty north east wind isnt blowing....was alittle chilly sunday

Went there on sunday. I must say it was very slow! nevertheless I caught one walleye one pike and my buddy lost a 9 pound walleye! Also had a lot of nibbles. The fishfinder showed lots of fish on the bottom but they just weren biting... Seems like the season is two weeks late this year!

Yes between 3 of us 1 being my 9 yr old, we caught 22, none of any size, but they are also spawning still, I had on my black rain pants, and it looked like I was on a porno set, males shooting everywhere, now the boat needs a cleaning....( and I did see all the people on shore, someone should show them how to cast, I saw a about 15 float bobbers go by us grabbed the ones I could)...
