Summer Fishing Holiday Opinion

Guys I need your opinion on something.
I have been starting to plan my summer fishing holiday that
my son and I always go on. Looking to go for about 5-7 days
of camping and relativly consitent Pike, Walleye, and Perch fishing.

Here's my thoughts.
Spend the week up by Cold Lake, fishing it as well as
Marie, Ethel, Crane, Tucker, and Wolf lakes. I have never
fished any of these lakes, not looking for trophies but just
some consistent fishing. Everything is Alberta priced and we
are ready to go.
OR
Spend the week at Meadow Lake Provincial Park. I place where
I went to growing up every for 12 years. I know the fishing is decent
in most of the lakes (unless things have changed drastically over the last 8
years). The limits are much better, we could actually bring home almost 2 dozen fish or more between the two of us, if we were so lucky to catch them all (not that we would, because we don't need that many and I like leaving some for next time). But there are extra costs that we wouldn't see on the Alberta side. Those being provincial park entry fees of $25/week, stupid 5% pst, and of course $60 for a fishing license.

So, I would appreciate your opinions on my two ideas. Or if you have some other suggestions please let me know.

Otter Lake in Northern Saskatchewan, pike perch or walleye every cast all day.

I'm not sure if BC is an option for you or not, but some friends and I are planning a trip to Osoyoos, BC.

The reason for Osoyoos is because Osoyoos Lake itself, and some surrounding oxbow lakes have a very healthy Bass population (small and largemouth). I have yet to ever bass fish, or catch a bass in my entire life, but after watching a Fishin Canada episode on Osoyoos recently, I have to go.

I looked around on the internet a bit and found a few decent looking campgrounds in the area. The nice thing is the weather and beaches are also supposed to be pretty good there, which is nice for those who dont want to fish every single day. Plus, they say the Bass bite is great there, even in the hot summer months. Its a 12-13hr drive, but if you are going for a week or two, its not so bad.

But, I would also seconf Meadow Lake Provincial park... my family and I used to camp at kimball lake years ago, and there are a few really decent fishing lakes in that park as well as lots of other stuff to do as well.
