Fishing for whites

Hello anglers , looking for some tips for white fish. Not sure why but never really got into fishing for whites, guess ive always been a walleye junkie. So i decided to give it a go this winter. So any advice to get me going would be much appreciated,what depths you guys fishing this time of year, what kind of bottom you looking for and are you fishing with flashers or are cameras more usefull. Generally any info would be much appreciated , thanks a bunch
