Default What do you shoot, why?

Im looking to buy a new bow come next hunting season. Ive been looking at higher end brands. I would like a 2012 model. Which brand do you guys prefer to shoot and why? What are the advantages of the brand you like compared to others?
I know ill have to get out and shoot a couple and get a feel for them but thought it would be good to see what every one else shoots.

I will be shooting a Mathews Q2 XL because I traded an auger for it and am just starting out again.

Not sure what to expect but have been told that it is a pretty good bow and seems quite a bit nice then my old Martin phantom that I started shooting before hurting my back.

go shoot all of them young feller. shoot just a few feet from the butt, and shoot with your eyes closed. concentrate on what feels best....of course make sure its sized right for you when you do this. dont get stuck on a name....pick the bow that feels best in your hand. the flagship model of each company is very very close to the next one....differences will be subtle.

I shoot a 10 year old PSE. Still shoots straight. Go for a 2011 model instead and get some better arrows. My frugal two cents

APA Python X. It's smoking fast and very stable. I love the value added features like the knife sharpener, the limb hanger, the carry handle. No vibration and quiet. The total package.

Four out of six of the brands you listed and a couple or few models of each and some brands you haven't listed. Shooting an Elite now. No reason other than change. The responses you get will be personal opinions with little objectivity. They all make good "high end" bows.

Bowtech Tomkat. 1st bow. Shot a few bows before deciding on it. Felt good. Price was good. 5th season with it and love it.

I'm a Wild TV addict and was thinking about upgrading to another bow due to all the advertising on there about archery, but I'm the kind of guy that once I find something that works, I stick with it. I have been using a fly reel I purchased from Canadian Tire when I was 14. 26 years of use and abuse and still workin' like new. Hahaha!!!

2011 Matthews z7 extreme tactical edition. Fell in love with the feel of the bow. Gave me alot of confidence in the feild after target practice. With my old bow I only had the confidence up to 35 yards with the my new Matthews I've been confident up to 60 yards.
