Morning all..if anyone wants to check out the target archery competition at the Alberta Winter Games this year...here's the schedule.
My boy James is competing as well as Trav's son Nash.
How did you get your son into this, is there a club or something that does target shooting? Is it done with a recurve like the olympics or compounds? Just currious because i have a little guy growing up and would like to try to get him envolved when he is old enough.
sh, best way is to join a local archery club. In order to compete in the games, the kids must be a member of the ataa. they have lots of info on their site. http://www.ataa-org.ca/
Ill be there to support the kids for sure. I am the equipment manager for Zone 7 I was told today so I get to be right there on the floor with the kids it sounds like.
Must be 12 year-17 years of age and belong to the ATAA to compete in the winter games. They happen every two years
